How to recognize if the beetle invaded your trees:
Signs of Infestation:
1) Bark Discoloration
2) Holes on tree trunk, branches or twigs
3) Dieback, or dry branch phenomenon
4) Cross-cut of branch shows swirly tunnels
5) Cross-cut of branch shows an interruption of water and nutrient flow
6) Gum and white, powdery sawdust around the holes
